The Southport ‘For the Love of Scrubs’ came on board when they found out about us in the summer of 2021. In addition to making scrubs and masks for their local NHS and care homes staff they created this banner-like quilt of 45 patches. It reflects on their success as a group of volunteers dealing with difficult circumstances.
We had made the quilt and our local museum had displayed it in Southport. It was great to discover Threads Of Survival and know that our work is being seen by many others around the country.
I know some members have seen the exhibition and are proud to that our quilt is part of something special.

THREADS is a very powerful exhibition and I feel very proud to be a tiny part of it. Threads should be displayed all over the country… so moving and many accurate comments as well as beautiful textile work.
