WHY NOT JOIN THE PROJECT?
2022: We’re moving on and we welcome new voices, new ideas. Autumn online workshops sessions have begun. Informal and often fun despite serious discussions.
Who is still suffering? Is the pandemic over for everyone?
What have the politicians to say in 2022? How are children and young people coping? Who is still making money from the pandemic?
When will enough be enough?
WHAT is the government planning now? If anything?
These and many more questions are discussed as we explore the reality of the world around us.
This leads us to create eye-catching visuals with the aim of recording the truth about our times and inspiring others to hold truth to power.
Threads of Survival is open to anyone who would like to take part.
This is a creative project where we encourage people to express themselves. If you need support with materials, techniques etc. we can help.

Contact the team for details about how you can contribute as a stitcher or an ideas person.

“Powerful stuff. I didnt think I would be interested in it but I surprised myself. A lot of strong messages in some patterns – amazing.”

Thank you to all concerned. The power of people coming together in such a positive way! A great reminder for future generations of how much we need to value our NHS

Brilliant in every way.

Visitor to GawthorpeQuite a surreal time and everything captured in stitches – lots of poignant messages. How many things were banned really stands out.

VisitorInspirational… Great to see the strength of feeling and uncensored comments. The media has been shackled and no longer holds the govt to account.
